Terms, plainly spoken.
On ordering
Bars in hand may be acquired directly: payment is taken at checkout and your bars are set aside the moment it clears. Bars still curing may be reserved with nothing to pay today; when their batch is released we write to you, and only then is payment asked. Larger and ceremonial orders are arranged by correspondence, honoured in the order letters arrive.
On dispatch and delivery
On withdrawal and refunds
On batches
Each batch numbers sixty bars and no more. When a batch is spoken for, it is gone until the next has finished its cure; we do not hurry a batch to meet demand, and we ask that you do not ask us to.
On the bars themselves
Every bar is cut, stamped and bevelled by hand; small differences in weight, colour and pattern are the signature of the method, not a flaw in it. Weights are stated at wrapping and may soften slightly as a bar continues to cure.
On price
Prices are shown in Indian rupees and are set per batch; they may be revised between batches as ingredients demand. The price confirmed when your bars are set aside is the price you pay; it does not move thereafter.
On your privacy
On care
A handmade bar kept dry between uses will serve you long and well. Ours ask only for a dish that drains.
